ABOUT
THE HUMAN BEHIND IRON MOUSE
Daniel Jordan is a financial markets trader, mentor, and risk architect with over 35 years of global experience. At his peak, he was part of a team responsible for providing 2% of global liquidity, trading across 11 countries and nearly every major exchange. Over his career, he has operated as a liquidity provider, arbitrageur, proprietary trader, and risk manager — leading teams of traders while designing frameworks to safeguard capital in volatile environments. His expertise has been sought by the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the UK Serious Fraud Office, where he advised on reverse-engineering financial scandals and identifying systemic risks before they erupted.

Daniel often says: “The most valuable lessons a trader learns are often the most expensive. I’m no exception. While I’ve had $1m+ days trading, I carry an almost photographic memory of my losing days. You seldom learn much when you’re making money — the real education comes from dissecting losses, stripping them back, and replaying every moment in minutiae to pinpoint the decisions that compounded into failure. That’s where the true lessons lie.”

This philosophy has guided Daniel through nine global financial crises — from the fall of the Berlin Wall and Black Wednesday to the collapse of Barings, 9/11, the subprime meltdown, and Covid. Each crisis sharpened his ability to spot hidden risks, design resilient strategies, and maintain discipline under pressure.

Through Iron Mouse, Daniel now works with traders at every level — from ambitious beginners to proprietary desks and institutional teams — helping them re-engineer their psychology, systematize discipline, and turn risk into a competitive advantage. For clients, success means a healthier, more consistent P&L: fewer downside days, tighter risk control, and more energy focused on scaling profitable strategies instead of firefighting poor ones.
“Profit is maths. Loss is psychology. We fix both.”
